I am available for school visits, and will come
and talk to your students about my career as a writer and
illustrator of children’s books. I like to keep things rolling with
humor, where I tell some jokes, and then the kids tell me some of
their jokes. I’ll show them my books and original artwork, plus
give them all the ins and outs of how a children’s book is created.
I can also talk a bit about
REASONS WHY JOKES ARE GOOD FOR CHILDREN.
I do either a PowerPoint presentation (if you’re set up with all the
equipment) or just an old-fashioned show-and-tell.
The
last ten minutes of my talk are reserved for questions, where I let
them ask me anything (and they do!) about my career and I’ll answer
as many as possible (but maybe not all!). If you are interested, please CONTACT
